Who doesn’t love a good special? I certainly couldn’t pass up the
opportunity to shop my favourite face and body store so when The Body Shop’s
infamous 3 for 2 special made its way around the country I was one of many to
stock up on a few of my favourites.
My
motivation was perfect skin from head to toe and this is what I picked up...
The Body Shop Spa of the World™
African Ximenia Scrub – R275
Summertime means elbows;
knees and feet are out so maintenance should be at an all time high. The African
Ximenia Scrub is a softening body scrub that is incredible to use on areas that
appear dry and are rough to the touch. For me, such areas happen to be my
elbows. It’s easy to skip this body part in the shower so I have slotted this
new elbow-scrubbing ritual every other day until they are in tiptop shape. My
process is to gently scrub with my regular loofah, pat dry with a towel and
then moisturize with a rich body butter – preferably one from The Body Shop
(R160).

The Body Shop Seaweed
Ionic Clay Mask – R170
I have heard fantastic
things about this mask. It is enriched with algae extracts and ionic clay to
draw out impurities and excess oil. I especially enjoy using this along my
T-zone as it is this area that tends to get shiny first. I would recommend
using this once or twice weekly, especially on days after you mistakenly slept
with a full face of makeup.
The Body Shop Vitamin C
Glow Boosting Moisturiser – R170
If your skin is prone
to looking dull and tired as the day wears on you will love this gel cream
moisturiser from The Body Shop. I use this in the morning and evening and the
result is radiant looking skin around the clock. Vitamin C is a powerful ingredient
for lightening dark spots and boosting healthy collagen production. While this
little jar may not be as potent as other highly concentrated Vitamin C
products, it still does what it promises – provide healthy, glowing, radiant
skin.
The Body Shop Vitamin C
Glow Boosting Moisturiser came free when I took advantage of the 3 for 2
special!
Are there any products
from The Body Shop that you love and did you manage to grab a few goodies while
the sale was still on?
