Ever discovered a fragrance so good the last thing you want to do is finish it? Gosh! I am taking my time with this one. At my previous place of work, staff were privy to first dibs at lush beauty products that remained in the office by the end of the year. On the day of our annual beauty sale, I hightailed to the fragrance counter, spotted this beauty and made her mine.
Flora by Gucci 1966 is a special limited edition fragrance of the scent Flora by Gucci created in 1966 and is inspired by a "flora" print scarf designed for style icon Grace Kelly. Just like its packaging, it holds dark and spicy notes of bourbon pepper and fresh bergamot making this fragrance super sensual and irresistibly elegant. The heart is of course an explosion of peony and rose while base notes of patchouli are blended with vetiver and musk.
If its name isn't a hint already, I love this fragrance for the summertime especially on a warm evening out. Designed with the intention of making any women who dons it feel like a modern day icon, you will feel desirable and the centre of attention-even if its only you who knows it.
If you're a little undecided on how you want hubby to spoil you this V-Day, point him in the direction of Flora by Gucci 1966. It's priced at R2 460 at Edgars/Red Square so unless you are willing to put that kind of a dent in your own wallet, I would suggest your S.O do the honours.
