The Body Shop Fresh Nude Foundation + Shade Adjusting Drops

You know my love for foundations runs deep so it's no surprise that I simply had to try the latest creation from The Body Shop. The new Fresh Nude Foundation exceeded my expectations. While it doesn't claim to be long wearing, it still faired pretty well in comparison to other foundations in its category. I also tried the infamous Shade Adjusting Drops with which I was truly impressed. Without waisting too much of your precious time, press play and watch my review in the video below...

There is a plethora of shades to choose from at either spectrum (light or dark) so you will not be short of choice when searching for the perfect match. With respect to the long-wearing nature of this foundation, I mentioned in the video that I definitely do prefer to set it with a powder as it is a little too dewy for my liking but even after setting it with a powder, skin remains looking radiant and fresh. The powder does certainly help it last a little longer throughout the day but once again, I would suggest a matte perfecting primer if you have combination to oily skin. New to the world of foundation mixers and shade adjusters, I was super excited to try what The Body Shop had to offer.  These are simply a must-have in my eyes. A lot of women make the mistake of purchasing the wrong foundation shade and it's often to do with it looking one way in-store (thanks artificial lighting) and different outside. Also, your tan tends to fade during autumn and winter and vice versa during spring and summer so instead of spending another R550 on a new foundation, this is where foundation mixers come in handy.
